Reflection:
1. (1st Photo) My best photo is the first photo in my opinion. It is a daisy that was a part of a bouquet I had received. I enjoy this photo because you can see all the little details in the petals of the flower.
2. I shot this picture from below with a worm’s eye view.
3. I used a worm’s eye view because I liked the way it captured all the details of the flower and it’s petals.
4. I did use the rule of thirds in this photo; I kept the subject (the flower) on the left hand side of the picture, keeping it out of the middle directly.
5. The light source was natural in this photo, I used it to highlight and darken certain areas on the daisy. With the help of dodging and burning, I made sure there was a nice contrast of white, blacks, and grays.
6. (1st Row, 2nd Picture) I think this photo best uses pattern. The repetition of the rectangles of the stairs leads your eyes up and through the picture.
7. (1st Photo) I think this photo is the most dynamic composition for showing texture because it brings out the smooth feeling of the petals.
